SHAREBOATS is a boatsharing concept that allows you to enjoy the boating lifestyle, without the hassle of owning one.
How does it work?
For whom?
For everyone who loves to be on the water! Our only requirement is that you are 25 years or older. It is not necessary to have a boat license or any boating experience: we can teach you how to control the Supiore UNO tender. One thing we can already tell you: it’s super easy.
Our concept is very suitable for residents of Amsterdam and the surrounding area who want to have a boat at their disposal for a pleasant trip on the canals and Amstel. We’re soon expanding to other areas outside of Amsterdam, sign up for our newsletter below to stay up-to-date about our locations.
SHAREBOATS is also ideal for business use. With our membership you can go out together with your team and customers for, for example, a lunch or brainstorm session.
No more boating stress
We want to make it as easy as possible for you. When you have a membership, you can reserve one of our boats via our website for a specific time slot and we will make sure the boat is ready for you. The boat charged, cleaned and equipped with everything you need for a day. Think of utensils, glassware and a wine cooler. But also for the necessary safety there are life jackets, fire extinguisher and a first aid kit are all present.
Where can you go?
You can sail with our boats on the canals of Amsterdam and the Amstel. Sailing beyond
Amsterdam territory or the IJ and Nieuwe Meer is prohibited.
Locations
Our SHAREBOATS are currently available in and around Amsterdam ready to explore the beautiful canals in the historic center or cruise on the idyllic Amstel river.
We’re looking to expand to other water rich areas and cities. If you want a SHAREBOATS close to where you live, please let us know by submitting the membership form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
The Boat
SHAREBOATS are floating works of art, beautifully design to slice through the water without leaving a wrinkle. Fully electric and power by the sun means silent propulsion without vibrations or fumes inside the boat. The big table in the middel of the boat seat 7 persons comfortably and invites for a good conversation or diner. Pure luxury inside and out.
Memberships
SHAREBOATS has memberships are all full service contracts. We take care of insurance, maintenance and winter storage so you just have to worry about having a good time.
When you are completely signed up, you’ll receive your login credentials. You just log in, make an online reservations and start sailing right away!
